The human experience is an always growing, always changing meld of environment and emotion. We are incredibly complex beings and possess rich inner worlds to entertain the infinite amount of interactions between thought and feeling over a lifetime. However, the relationship between emotion and time is not always distinct, and at any given moment our internal experience may be blending, shifting, or morphing into something entirely different. This work engages with the woven and intermingled tapestry that is human emotion. By utilizing self-portraiture, the images act as both a reflection of the self, as well as a window into the depth of the human essence.
This work was featured in the Kelowna Alternator's online members exhibition, "The Assembly // The Human Condition".
