This work examines a decisive moment and the time surrounding it. The decisive moment was first coined by Henri Cartier-Bresson and refers to a photo where when everything lines up to give the artist an ethereal sense in the moment of capturing it. These moments frequently involve a moving subject and the idea is often simplified as "being in the right place at the right time with the right tools". However, as a photographer, these moments can be a long time in the making, often there is a significant amount of research and preparation involved so this work uses multiple photographic techniques to document a behind the scenes look at the making of a decisive moment.
